Course Notes

Loch Palm Golf Club is located in central Phuket, with the first nine holes routed around a small lake. These holes are relatively flat, though the course designer added a small amount of movement in the fairways. Water is in play from the lake or streams on six of the first seven holes, but the water typically occupies one side of the hole — giving room for players to aim away from the water. The lake and surrounding hills are beautiful, with the second nine moving into the hills. Because of this transition into the hills the second nine has more elevation changes and tighter fairways, increasing the opportunity for losing a golf ball into the jungle.
